Robert Furneaux – President, PTM Industries Inc., is pleased to announce the appointment of Cheryl Odrowski to the position of ‘Director – Finance & Administration’ effective April 7, 2008.

“Ms. Odrowski’s addition to our management team strengthens the leadership of our organization in a number of key functional areas and addresses many of the challenges associated with our aggressive growth and development initiatives,” said Mr. Furneaux.

Cheryl is an accomplished executive with a strong background in finance, I.T., and process administration. She joins us with an impressive and relevant history with a host of leading companies which include: Assa Abloy Canada, Catalina Lighting, Wilkinson Foods International, Organic Meadow / OntarBio Organic Farmers Cooperative, Petro-Canada, Airboss of America and Spectral Diagnostics.

Cheryl will lead our Finance and Administration Group in addition to assuming full responsibility for PTM’s I.T. and Human Resources.

PTM Industries continues its strategic realignment process as part of its next phase of expansion within the North American motion control component marketplace. International Power Transmission Exposition (IFPE) was in Las Vegas from March 12 to 15th. Craig Bobbie, PTM's Director of Business Development, and Dan Cotton, PTM's Managing Director, spent three days meeting with manufacturers, customers and industry executives. "The show was a great success" commented Craig Bobbie. "We identified several new potential business partners and renewed some great relationships. We hope to be making several significant announcements in the near future as a result of attending the show"

Daniel Cotton Appointed as Managing Director

Robert Furneaux-President, PTM Industries, is pleased to announce the appointment of Daniel Cotton to the position of Managing Director. Dan’s role at PTM will focus on strategic planning and business development, effective immediately. "I'm thrilled to officially join the PTM team at this exciting stage of the company's development," stated Dan. "My family has been involved with PTM since 1984, the year the company was founded. I'm proud to carry on that tradition. I'm looking forward to working closely with PTM in my capacity as Managing Director."
Dan Cotton is an accomplished business professional who currently functions as an advisor to high net worth families at one of North America's premier investment firms. He is also a director of, and investor in, several private Canadian companies in the distribution, consumer product manufacturing and investment management sectors. Dan is a graduate of the University of Guelph and holds both Certified Financial Planner (CFP) and Financial Management Advisor (FMA) designations.

 Robert Furneaux – President, PTM Industries,  is pleased to announce the appointment of Craig Bobbie to the position of ‘Director – Business Development’ effective immediately.

Craig will continue to lead the management our manufacturer and customer relationships in addition to his role as Manager of our Call Centre activities and personnel.His focus will now be more defined in the key area of ‘business development’ to prompt sales and margin growth with the objective of doubling PTM’s revenues every 3 years.

PTM is currently undergoing a strategic realignment as part of its next phase of aggressive development and expansion in the North American motion control component marketplace. PTM’s mission is to be our manufacturing partner’s ‘premier distribution channel’ and our client’s ‘first source’ of product supply.

Mr. Furneaux is an accomplished executive with a strong background in distribution, operations and sales management. His career tenure includes: Director / Vice President - Operations with Weston Forest Group, a $200M global forest products distributor and one of Canada's ' 50 Best Managed Private Companies'; President of a Canadian subsidiary of Herman Miller, Inc., a $1.74B global manufacturer/distributor of business and commercial furnishings; General Manager – Ontario with CanWel Building Materials Income Fund ., a $1B national sales, marketing, and logistics services organization; a key executive with Pella Hunt Corporation, Canada's premier manufacturer/supplier of residential and light commercial building products; and most recently President / Managing Partner of Romaco & Associates, a value-based business and performance management consulting firm.

Mr. Furneaux will focus on the growth, development and diversity of the company as it approaches it's 25-year anniversary in the marketplace.
